Payton was able to look left for the first time in her life."Payton, at four years old, was diagnosed at birth with Duane Syndrome. This vision disorder did not allow her to look to her left with her left eye. Payton's parents brought her to a free Scoliosis Screening at Washington Care Clinic and shared her story with Dr. Brett Mehringer. After examination, Dr. Brett found an abnormal bump on the back of her head. He performed a chiropractic adjustment and then asked her to look to the left. Payton was able to look left for the first time in her life. Her parents were amazed. Her mother cried out, "Oh my God, she's looking left" and started to cry. There was not a dry eye in the entire office. The chiropractic care relieved nerve pressure which in turn release the restriction of Payton's eye. "I am more emotional and thankful than I can say. They are the best of the best!!!"I hurt my lower back by picking up my dog. I heard my back snap. I was stuck there for 30min. I called Washington Care Clinic and they got me right in. Dr. Brett talked to me, and made me realize things I didn’t even know that were in the wrong position I guess you could say. He went to work on my back and then to go home and ice it. We did this for 2 days. He then sent me to my primary Dr knowing I need medicine for the pain. He’s a smart man!! I came back to him and he has continued to work his magic and if it was for Dr Brett and Dr Matt and their amazing staff I would not be sitting for sure and not walking very well. 3 appointments later and I started my day without NSAIDS for the first time in a year."Almost a year ago I started suffering from constant severe lower back pain. Months of physical therapy, X-Rays, and high dose NSAID use later I was worse than before. At 25 years old I had accepted that pain was my life now.
